Noor Safa Coordination and Rehabilitation Organization (NSCRO) is a non-government, nonprofit, and non-political Organization organization established in April 2010 and officially registered in Ministry of Economics of Afghanistan with registration number of 1653. NSCRO’ headquartered in Herat and operates in western region provinces including Ghor and Badghis in the sector of women rights/empowerment, elimination of violence against women, livelihood, vocational training, conflict resolution, peace building, and well as emergency response, relief and development services for most vulnerable and underserved Afghan people
- Capacity building for the members of development councils of Ghor province’s districts. Developing networks for women’s rights litigation.
- Creating winter courses for students in grades 10, 11 and 12 at Firoozkooh schools.
- Creating English courses for male and female students.
- Establishment of a women’s bakery in Firoozkooh.
- Establishment of the National Action Plan for Women, Peace and Security, Resolution 1325 and its introduction to all government departments of Ghor province.
- Develop a women’s national action plan for peace and security for NAP peace.
- Capacity building of the staff of the Department of Women’s Affairs.
- 11% presence of women in government offices in Ghor province.
- Women preparation and interested in presidencies and directorates to compete with men.
- Allocation of two directorates without women’s directorate for women (Department of Counter Narcotics and Head of Ghor Teachers’ College).
- Support of the Department of Women’s Affairs and other departments from the 1325 draft letter and the commitment of the departments for the work and activities of the NAP Committee after the completion of the project.
- Accountability of the judiciary to the people and prioritizing women’s cases to address their cases.
- Building women’s trust in government and judicial departments.
- Coordinate women’s organizations in cooperation with civil society to seek redress for women and send proposals to the headquarters of the Administrative Reform Commission, Civil Society, Human Rights Commission and other institutions to consider specific positions for women and give them a greater share.
- Establishment and equipping of two peace associations for Bibi Khadijeh Kobra and Shahabuddin Ghori schools.
- Teaching of subject “peace education” for one year yo 200 male and female students by male and female teachers.
- Holding innovative activities by the School Peace Association under the auspices of the program.
- Capacity building of school teachers covered by the program.
- Continuation of the work of the associations of the two schools and the support of the Department of Education for these associations.
- Satisfaction of school teachers and students with teaching the subject of peace education and requesting other classes to teach this subject.
- Modeling other institutions from the innovative activities of schools.
- Encourage and involve girls in football compared to other years.
- Modeling of educational institutions from the programs that were launched in the competition section (innovative activities).
- Establish and equip a committee of peace activists.
- 90% reduction of cases that occurred in the villages covered by the Amar Solh project.
- Support of local people from awareness programs (conflict resolution and social peace) to any assistance program that other institutions have in the mentioned areas.
- Repeated requests from the people to continue the work of the members of the Peace Activists Committee to resolve the conflicts within the mentioned villages.
- Workshop for community members by members of the Peace Activists Committee of the Noorsafa Institute in villages around the city.
- The discourses of the Noor Safa Coordination and Reconstruction Institute have been on issues such as violence against women, exorbitant dowries, government accountability to the people, peace and awareness.
- The campaigns of this institute were always held on special occasions, such as Women’s Day or March 8, Mother’s Day, the Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women, and the International Day of Peace.
A free, peaceful and developed Afghanistan based on valuable cultural and traditional values where all Afghans lives in peace, prosperity, human rights protection as aware and dignified citizens and contribute actively in development of their communities.
Contributing in establishing a peaceful, developed and self-sufficient Afghan society through providing specified interventions to promote women’s rights/empowerment, elimination of violence against women, community development, and promoting civil society organizations and education in Afghanistan.
